"Planting" grew out of thinking about all the small, invisible things we do that don't bloom until much later. I painted it with acrylic ink on canvas paper, layering marks and colors like seeds dropped into soil.

You'll see loose forms that might read as stems, roots, or just gestures - I left it open on purpose so you can decide what you're planting in your own life. The naive, primitive style keeps it from feeling too literal. It's more about the feeling of quiet hope after you've done your part and have to wait.

This piece works well framed in a simple mat, adding a thoughtful, uplifting note to kitchens, offices, or reading corners. Originals carry the slight tooth of the canvas paper under the ink, and I also offer print options if you want to share this little reminder of slow growth.
