"Golden Hair" grew out of my fascination with how light catches on a person's hair when they're standing near a window, lost in thought. I painted this portrait in acrylic and ink, letting the yellow and gold tones spill beyond the lines, like sunlight that refuses to stay put.

Her face is rendered in a naive, primitive way - uneven, imperfect, and very human. Small ink marks hint at strands of hair, memories, and maybe a bit of worry. I wanted her to feel like someone you might know, or someone you used to be.

This piece brings warmth to a room, especially when hung where it can catch natural light. The original shows every little ink mark and brushstroke, while prints keep the glow of those golden hues. It's a lovely choice if you're drawn to portraits that feel like quiet company rather than polished decoration.
