Green Fish- Acrylic

"Green Fish" is the quieter cousin to my brighter fish pieces. Painted in acrylic on 5.5x8.5 paper, it started with a single curved line that felt like a sigh, and the rest of the body followed. I kept the palette mostly green with small shifts in tone so it feels like light moving through water.
The drawing is intentionally simple - almost childlike - because I wanted it to feel like something you might have doodled during a slow afternoon, only with richer color. It works beautifully in small frames, on a shelf, or grouped with other coastal or sea‑life pieces.
If you're drawn to water, or you just love art that feels calm and unpolished, this little fish tends to bring a soft, steady presence into a room. Originals and print options make it easy to add a gentle hint of the ocean to your space.
